Who Is This For? Babe. We all have our “issues”. The problem is that many of us don’t know where to start when it comes to solving them.
• Poor sleep
• Poor energy
• Bad eating habits
• Premature aging
• Out of balance
• Brain fog
• Depressed, anxious, or both
• Unfulfilled, lacking joy, lacking purpose
• Gas, bloating, indigestion
• The “taking care of me first is selfish” mindset
Do any of those sound like you? This workshop is for you if you meet any of the above criteria and you are ready and open to learn about a timeless system that will help you take back control of your health and happiness.
Program Description:I hear you love yoga. Well, then, you are in for a treat!
The Happy Body Workshop is a 2-hour class that introduces you to the very basics of Ayurveda- a wellness system (and sister science to yoga!) that helps you solve your biggest wellness challenges. You will discover your body type so you can identify and begin to correct any imbalances mentioned above. We will explore each of the 3 body types and I will reveal the best thing you can do to create more peace, calm, and joy. Things will just start to make sense. You will leave inspired, with hope, and knowing what you need to do. Also, chocolate. Doesn’t that sound awesome!?

YOUR YOGA INSTRUCTOR
Beverly ScholzeHello! My name is Beverly and I will be your yoga instructor for the conclusion of “The Happy Body” workshop. A bit about me: I am a teacher at Yoga Nation. My first formal mind/body training was as a Fusion (Yoga, Pilates mix) instructor almost 15 years ago. Since then, I have grown through my Hot Yoga, Restorative, Insight Yin Yoga and my newest passion Qigong trainings. What an amazing journey! The gift from these trainings is the knowledge I can pass on to everyone. Currently, I teach Hot26 and an energy sequence; I also teach yin/restorative yoga when time permits. In a perfect yoga life there’s regular yoga practice, study and learning- almost impossible in our busy lives. I hope to encourage new and long time yogis how to find a balance as well as show them that yoga can be adapted for all body types and skill levels from newbies to the experienced. I look forward to adding my gifts to this workshop! See you there!

A big part of my growth this year in working with Kendra has come from just understanding myself better, why I react and think the way I do. How past experiences have shaped me and how I can take control and shape my future. The powerful act of simply acknowledging some of the these things has lifted a big weight that allows me to move forward in a life where I take ownership of all aspects of my life.
Hi, Kendra. Thanks for the check in….This has been one of the most relaxed and enjoyable holiday seasons that I can remember in the last 20 or so years. Although I enjoy hosting and cooking for the holiday gang, I usually feel quite tired out by the time New Years rolls around, but not this time. Thanks to you, I have some new skills and tools. For example: making sound sleep a priority, creating and understanding the importance of space, breathing…really breathing, remembering to take time for gratitude when things get hectic, and experiencing the satisfaction that comes from small incremental changes made with intention. Thank you. There’s no doubt in my mind that I would never have made this leap ahead without your wise coaching and enthusiastic cheerleading!
I initially sought out Kendra for my dietary goals in the spring of last year. She was great because she took the time to educate me about food, while truly delivering what I wanted- a lighter way of living. She asked me questions throughout our time that helped me realize how I had very rigid standards for myself, and these standards often held me down from reaching what is truly the potential for my life and my health. Kendra delivered so much more than food knowledge or coaching, she provided a new filter to view life.
I have been suffering with an autoimmune disease for the last 14 years that has caused me to be in constant pain. I did not have quality-of-life as there was not a lot that I could do because of the pain factor. That, in turn, affected my outlook on life, my personality, as well as my marriage. The pain was so severe at times and for so long that I even got to the point that I did not want to live anymore. In January of this year, I took a 30-day challenge with Kendra Irvine as my wellness coach and she had suggested we try alternatives to prescription medication. I was skeptical at first and somewhat hesitant to try, but I agreed. The change in my health has been unbelievable! I now am able to enjoy life like I haven’t been able to for many years. The pain is a lot less severe and a lot less often. I have a new lease on life, I am happy, and I enjoy it to the fullest! I have Kendra to thank for that. She was my coach, my mentor, and my sounding board when I was having bad days. She taught me so much in those 30 days. I am now exercising regularly, meditating, doing yoga (and looking forward to starting a yoga class!), and I go to Aquafit five days a week. My life has totally changed for the better and I have Kendra to thank for that. I would definitely recommend her to anyone that is looking for a better lifestyle.
For the last three months, I’ve had the privilege of one-on-one coaching with Kendra Irvine (Living Light). Throughout life’s journey we accumulate a lot of baggage–physically, emotionally, and spiritually. With the tools I’ve acquired through Living Light and the Ayurvedic lifestyle promoted by Kendra, I feel I’m equipped for the next part of life’s journey with a backpack instead of an extra-large suitcase on wheels (half of which I never needed).
