What is Ayurveda?


Ayurveda is the sister science of yoga and has been streamlined over the past 5000 years. Some say it’s as old as 10 000 years. It seeks to create harmony between you (the human) and nature (from where you came).

Ayurveda is divided into three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Each one representing the 5 elements of the natural world. Ether, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth make up the environment. And since we are from nature, so, too do these elements make up our body constitution. By resetting the body’s internal clock to sync back into rhythm with that of nature, we create more harmony and ease. Dinacharya or healthy daily routine that honours the basic foundation of perfect health is the workhorse of this system. Ayurveda makes your life EASIER and more joyful. We accomplish this process, this transition, one step at a time. The end result? You get lighter…and lighter…and lighter…and lighter…
